1 August 2013 – Official launch of the MC & GM TTC. Today is the official opening day of the Merseyside, Cheshire & Greater Manchester Teacher Training Consortium (MC & GM TTC), a registered educational charity established primarily to deliver employment based initial teacher training throughout the North West of England.

July 2013 – The School Direct registration portal is open

The School Direct registration portal is open. Schools must act quickly to register for training places for 2014/15. The closing date is midday on the 23rd of September. For more details, Schools should go to: http://www.education.gov.uk/schools/careers/traininganddevelopment/initial/b00205704/school-direct/register or www.education.gov.uk and search for Initial Teacher Training funding and allocations.

April 2013 – The Consortium obtains Charity status
